Lahmacun Radio

Lahmacun Radio is a Budapest-based online community radio station founded in 2018, showcasing the city’s various subcultures and musical scenes. The station’s studio is located in Kazán Community House, situated in District VIII, on the grounds of a former factory that now hosts numerous cultural and social projects.

Lahmacun Radio works not only with local but also international hosts, including contributors from Brussels, Edinburgh, Berlin, San Francisco, and Belgrade. Additionally, it collaborates with other online radio stations such as Radio Kapital from Poland, Cashmere Radio from Germany, and IDA Radio from Estonia.

The radio’s mission is to provide a platform for diverse musical and cultural movements, while also supporting a network of independent community radio stations. As part of this effort, it is a member of the Independent Community Radio Network (ICRN).
